Man who lived on top of the Tyne Bridge for two weeks posts top review on Trip Advisor

A MAN protesting for fathers’ rights by spending two weeks at the top of Newcastle’s Tyne Bridge has posted a five-star review of his stay on Trip Advisor.

Simon Anderton, 56, from Heaton, Newcastle, joked he was staying in the “penthouse suite” and there was no objection from neighbours (seagulls) when he attached the protest banner.

But he says there are no stairs to reach his room, it lacks toilet facilities and it is a bit draughty.

Advantages include spectacular views.
