New Fathers 4 Justice demonstrator charged after rooftop protest at Stevenage Police Station


A Stevenage-based fathers’ rights activist has been charged with aggravated trespass after scaling the town’s police station.

Robert Smith, 33, from Anderson Road, Stevenage, is due to appear at Hatfield Remand Court today (February 16).

The New Fathers 4 Justice advocate climbed on to the roof of the Lytton Way police station on Monday.

He was up there protesting, dressed as Elmo, for a number of hours before he came down and was arrested.
