New Fathers 4 Justice protester arrested in Stevenage after climbing onto police station roof


A man who scaled Stevenage police station to raise awareness of fathers’ rights issues has been arrested.

Yesterday (Monday, February 15) a Stevenage man climbed onto the roof of the town’s police station dressed as Elmo and unfurled a number of banners.

He got on to the building around 12.30pm and did not come down until 5.35pm.

Once he was down the man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass.

He is currently in police custody.
