An activist sits on the roof of Jeremy Corbyn’s home yesterday with a banner, during an all-day “dads’ rights” protest.
Bobby Smith, 34, scaled the property in North London with fellow New Fathers 4 Justice campaigner Martin Matthews.
Police closed the street for several hours before the pair gave up and were arrested. Mr Smith had hoped his shared parenting rights campaign would get the Labour leader’s attention – but Mr Corbyn was not home. Mr Smith’s mum Sheila, 60, said the protest was a success, adding: “I’m really proud of my son.”
